Very Satisfied
First, as an addition to the initial review, here’s what I did to help with the pump noise. I also got some extension suction tubing - McKesson 12” x 1/4’ ID (part # 16-66307). I also got a remote control extension power strip. The pump goes in the closet; the closet door is shut; the tubing and electrical cord fit under the closet door; and I can easily lay down in bed and run the pump as needed from bed using the remote control without having to get up. Super Quiet! The product works as advertised. However, TruClear’s instructions about how to set the pressure levels (both in their printed materials and in their videos) could be clearer. You have to carefully read the separate pump instructions to learn how to do it. It’s not just a matter of simply turning the pressure valve - you have to simultaneously occlude or plug the patient port in order to adjust the pressure level. In addition, since I am circumcised,I originally ordered the M+ catheter (recommended by TruClear for hose who are circumcised). I found it to be too small and it resulted in leaks. I ordered the regular M catheter (supposedly for those who are uncircumcised) and it worked great.

It works!
I have been using the Demetech UR24T Vacu-Aide portable aspirator with the Truclr male condom catheter for more than three months now. I was getting up to urinate more than 6 times every night which caused me to lose a lot of sleep. I've tried medication, herbs, not drinking after 5pm and using other devices that just did not work to resolve my bladder & prostate issues. My grandson discovered the UR24T & the Truclr condom online and I decided to order them. It took me less than a week to get used to using it. The condom is made of a soft silicone material and it goes on my ***** quickly & easily. My body adjusted to it in a short time and I found myself getting more sleep and waking up less. Now I'm getting a better night's sleep and feeling more rested during the day! No more getting up a half dozen or more times a night. The Demetch UR24T vacu-aide aspirator is somewhat noisy for me, so I added an extension tubing to the catheter and placed the unit just outside my bedroom and it made a significant difference for me. The sound may not be a problem for you. In the morning I remove the catheter and shut the unit off. The suction canister that comes with the unit works great but didn't hold the volume of urine I needed it to, so I ordered a larger 2000cc suction canister from Amazon and it works well for me. After I get up I empty the canister, clean it and flush the tubing with hydrogen peroxide. The catheter comes with a bottle of antibacterial cleaner. I clean and dry the silicone catheter and I'm ready for the next night (the catheter is reusable and lasts for weeks) . These devices are covered by Medicare as well. The company can provide the billing codes for you. I am happy with the results I'm getting using this. And, until something better comes along, this is part of my daily lifestyle for a better quality of life!
