The waterproof outer layer protects wounds from external contaminants and bacteria. This dressing is indicated for partial and full-thickness wounds with heavy drainage, including pressure injuries, leg ulcers, donor sites, lacerations, abrasions, skin tears, and first- and second-degree burns. It is not recommended for third-degree burns or lesions with active vasculitis.
