The best gauze pads with borders, able to absorb fluid oozing out from a wound without a leakage lasting for 8 hours before the gauze pad get saturated with absorbed fluid. Altogether I used 6 boxes of 4"x4" "Mepilex Border Flex", after the catheter for a strictured liver duct segment in my liver was taken out, waiting for the punctured hole on my skin to self heal. The downside is, too expensive (I needed to change the pad 3 times in a day).
