The best dressing for skin tears, but I was using it on a recent MOHS surgery scar on my face because it sealed well and did not irritate my skin. What a relief to use this rather than a traditional bandaide which causes a reaction.

These bandages are superior to similar products but they are really expensive. Easy to apply and relatively pain free removing them. Would recommend to anyone with a large wound.

As a wound care specialist, I often recommend this dressing. It's flexible, doesn't stick to the wound, and absorbs well. Patients are comfortable and it stays in place even on joints.

MEPILEX border flex wound dressings

The only dressing on the market that was tolerable for my partner with a fungating weeping cancerous tumour that needed constant dressing changes for many months. The adhesive doesn’t hurt the skin, was the most absorbent of any we’ve used anywhere including hospitals. Unfortunately it’s expensive but we just paid for it as the comfort and convenience was incredible.

Safe for Skin

I have had to frequently bandage a wound and would often have problems with the adhesive tearing my skin. These have been wonderful and have kept my skin around looking healthy. The silicone adhesive is readherent too if you need to apply medication or see how the wound is doing. The cushioned gauze also provides protection and comfort.

Excellent Product, Check the size

I purchased these after the hospital gave us some. I bought the incorrect size at first. The 4X4 is the size of the adhesive. I didn't check close enough. This product is really great for delicate skin that has to stay covered 24/7.

The best product I could find

My mom has leaky legs and tummy, and this is the only product that gives her several hours of rest before she needs to change again. All other dressings did not deliver, and we tried lots of them. The price of these bites, but it is high quality dressing for very leaky wounds.

A great dressing for wounds as it does not stick to the wound. It5 is soft and pliable and very easy to use.

Great to always have on hand to use. Any small/larger scratch or wound is covered with this and it is great to use because I can apply a relevant wound dressing before putting it on and Mepilex Border flex will last 7 days.

Sped up the healing

Used as it was recommended by the Hospital I was receiving treatment from as this dressing keeps the wound in place without harming the skin. It has been great and I have healed nicely.

My husband breaks out from any tape Dr's have tried...except these pads and they stay on and stay put. I highly recommend this.

The dressing is soft on the skin and very easy to apply. It stays in place even when I move around, which makes it very reliable.

Bought 2 sizes and am very happy with both. I have a long term issue with troublesome boils and these dressings are extremely easy to apply, stay secure and provide the waterproof protection which is so useful.

Used this dressing with the Mepitel One Wound Contact Layer dressing on a large elbow skin tear. This combo worked exceptionally well with no disruption of healing skin and caused minimal discomfort during dressing changes. Highly recommend!

Worth it

I use these on my elderly mother to protect a healing bed sore. I tried using cheaper brand. This works better than other brands...it does not further irritate the wound because it is pliable without losing ability to adhere.

Mepilex Border Dressing

Very useful for skin tears to encourage regranulation before changing to a dry dressing. Adheres well but also removes easily, well tolerated by patients.

Highly absorbent and flexible. Used it for my knee injury – stayed fixed even when I walked around. Good price compared to local stores.

Maybe OK

Like the bandage handling (edges and soft protected center pad). Easy to apply and to remove. However, bandage sticks to the wound area and remains moist - not good for some wounds because removal can pull top off healing wound.

Great product.

Excellent product and have used it many times. Stays on and injury heals quickly. Especially great for ulcers. The fact it is waterproof is an added bonus. No need to cover whilst showering. Very happy with Mepilex.

Bandage Worth the Money

This item is great for free-bleeders or persons on blood thinners. My husband's skin is very thin; a bump and he bleeds. This size bandage covers the area and the padding actually stops the blood from seeping out. Great product. I discovered it from the hospital.

My husband has bed sores on his feet. I bought additional dressings to supplement what home health care provided. Unfortunately, movement of my husband's legs caused the dressings to rub of leaving open sores uncovered.

Awesome Medical Dressing

Awesome Medical Dressing for open wounds. This product was initially given to me by the VA for an open wound on my leg. My leg healed very well using this dressing.
