Very sturdy, comfortable commode!

Very stable, sturdy commode. Fits nicely over toilet to provide a higher seat with arms to assist in standing. It is very comfortable. My only complaint is the adjustable height settings--the lowest is too low and the next one up is too high and my toes touch the floor. I am just under 400 lbs. and my sides touch the arms though. May hold 1000 lbs. but you would have to put arms down to fit. Overall a nice commode though!

I bought this for my husband who has parkinsons disease. He is neither big nor heavy but I bought this style commode because it looks stable and would make my husband comfortable. I like that the legs easily adjust to many different heights. It is very stable and roomy and easy to clean. It does take up more space than a narrower commode, which is its only disadvantage.

Commode/Toilet seat

I bought three seats over a year now. This is the first one built sturdy and heavy duty. The only thing it needs is as seat on top. I’m not a heavy weight. To show how cheap the other seats were. I do use a wheelchair 100% of time when not in bed.

I am unable to get

I am unable to get the buttons to slip into the slots that hold the back of it. It is useful though and is large enough for the size of the patient. It was not as clean as I would have liked. It had some kind of brown stain (not fesses), but just looked dirty. I was able to clean most of it off, just one spot that does not come off. No idea what this could have been.

The only downside is there is no cover to place over the hole after you have used the commode, so you would have to empty after each use.

The extra width is great and the chair is sturdy. The only thing wrong is that the back cushion is very small and is uncomfortable. It needs to be much larger.
