Without ever having had to shop for a hospital bed mattress, I decided on this one because other buyers had found it worthy of their own parents. When the mattress arrived it surprised me that it came in a box. When I opened the box I carefully read the information on how to unpack the mattress and allow it 24 hours to self-inflate. After placing the mattress on the bed on the following morning, it's great to verify that the description and the reviews were perfect. It is a comfortable mattress, supporting the back and entirely comfortable without coils to hurt the back of bedridden patients.

excellent but a little too firm

Love this mattress. It's a little too firm for my taste but my daughter said it works well for her. For bladder issues at night this is the mattress to get. Cleans easy. I put on a bunk bed and it's a little bigger than a twin. Maybe twin xl sz? It still fits so good for us. Would definitely recommend if you have someone who has accidents in bed.

I hadn't realized how much good sleep I was missing out until I availed an NSC Medical mattress. A friend recommended them to me and I'm glad she did. Just like the other reviews said, their mattress really gives you a floaty feeling. It's so comfy to sleep on, please do yourself a favor and buy one!

comfortable easy to clean cover would be GREAT if it had straps on cover to make it easier to move. i rotate mattresses every week

very comfortable. much more so than the one provided by medicare. not too hard but not too soft either. comfortable but has enough support for your back. price was good too.

I like this mattress but is not firm at all. I have severe pain in my joints and need a firm mattress to keep me level. This mattress gives uneven support.
