I cut one in half and placed it across all the toes. The softness of the pad has given more protection. I wish these pads can in a slightly smaller size

I have very sensitive skin and am allergic to lots of adhesive dressings, including other foam ones. Allevyn gentle border dressings are exactly that. They are very kind to the skin and very comfortable. I have been using them on my ankle ulcer for 5 months, with no side effects whatsoever. At a time when my dressing options had become very limited, I am truly glad I came across them and would recommend them to anyone.

THIS IS TOP OF THE LINE IN BANDAGES. THE GENTLE BORDER IS WONDERFUL WHEN USING ON DELICATE SKIN. IT IS STRONG ENOUGH TO STAY PUT BUT RELEASES EASILY WHEN YOU ARE CHANGING A BANDAGE. WHEN YOU CAN FIND THESE AT A GOOD PRICE IT IS WORTH IT TO BUY THEM AND HAVE ON HAND. THEY CAN BE VERY PRICEY IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE WOUND YOU ARE TREATING. THEY STATE THEY CAN STAY ON LONGER THAN ONE DAY, BUT THE WOUNDS I WAS TREATING NEEDED TO BE CHANGED DAILY. MY INSURANCE DID NOT COVER BANDAGES, SO OVER THE COUNTER, OUT OF POCKET CAN ADD UP QUICKLY. STILL, THESE ARE WORTH THE MONEY.

Never new this product existed glad I found them yours was the best value they fit lovely over open wound protecting it and its breathable and waterproof would definitely buy again if needed and recommend for cuts and burns especially.

Review of Allevyn Gentle Border Lite Foam Dressing

Allevyn makes the BEST padded silicone bandages. I use them (all sizes) on my disabled husband to prevent pressure sores from developing, and also for moist-healing wound dressings. The gentle border adhesive is the only adhesive that doesn't eventually irritate his skin.

A must for those with cuts/wounds that do not heal easily.

My husband is always getting wounds from working in the garden. He has thin skin and on medication which makes him a prolific bleeder. After a really nasty arm wound I saw these plasters, although quite pricey, and decided to give them a go. He kept the plaster on for 7 days and no issue with it staying on, looked at it and removed the plaster. He no longer has a hole in his arm and the skin has regenerated to a pale pink and looks close to being healed. Consequently, I have purchased some more with a 2 year shelf life. I know he will be using these again very soon. Excellent purchase if you have problems with bleeding and healing.

I have previously used this product to prevent pressure sores when travelling. They are easy to apply, remain well in place. The size is also ideal.

They are brilliant for all cuts especially if you're diabetic or have lymphoedema. You can leave them on for 7 days. I'm 81 and my skin is thin and fragile- removing them is easy and pain-free with no bruising.

Excellent dressing for shin wounds/ulcers

Was searching around for a good dressing for my elderly mother's wounds/ulcers on her shins and this one has been great. Thick enough to absorb what's needed...with a bit of cushion. Also the sticky adhesive does not hurt her when we need to remove them to change over to a new dressing. Definitely worth it as they can last up to a week.

After surgery,used in hospital for my husband who has a very sensitive skin. All other type of tape including paper tape , irritated his skin. Allevyn are gentle on your skin. Easy on , easy off. Love it!

Good for sore places.

It's very for sore places. Ordinary plastrs tend to take skin off these don't. The only drawback is the price they are rather expensive.

I have extrodinary delicate skin, even with a bandaid, when it is removed the stickey part takes the skin off so I end up with the wound and large sections of skin lost adjacent to the wound --- the gentle border wound dressings cover my wounds and because they have a small adhesive edge, when the nurse removes this wound dressing carefully and slowly, it does not take skin with it.
