El sistema de bomba y almohadilla de presión alterna Med Aire con baja pérdida de aire de Drive Medical proporciona presión alterna y está diseñado para usarse en la prevención, el tratamiento y el manejo de las úlceras por presión. La almohadilla de burbujas proporciona un tratamiento terapéutico superior, alternando cuáles de las 130 celdas de burbujas individuales se inflan o desinflan cada 5 minutos, sin ejercer demasiada presión sobre ninguna zona afectada. La bomba de 4 LPM (litros por minuto) produce un flujo de aire y una presión constantes, y su tecnología silenciosa infla y desinfla alternativamente las celdas de aire de la almohadilla.

Worked wonderful! Very quiet!
Not good for skinny/boney people
I bought this mattress overlay, hoping to use it on a business trip. It does what it says -- it does alternate pressure -- but it inflates the cells to the hardness of a diamond. Sure, the pump has an adjustable dial on it from soft to hard, but turning the dial made no difference. As a side sleeper, it was brutal on my rib cage, like sleeping on a bed of river stones. If the soft setting actually worked, it'd be a great product. As is, 1 star.
drive med aire 14005e varible air pump wont turn o
we run this pump 24/7 for the most part. a few months ago I turned it off and it wouldn't turn back on for 24hrs. Seems like maybe a fuse got hot(?). then it worked fine for another few months and just did it again. I turned it off for 20min and it wont turn on again. ill see how it does. tomorrow. plug is fine. I plugged another device in to check it.

I didnt order the extended version because I thought it was over priced. Weve had no trouble at all with the normal length. I was a bit surprised to find that the firm setting caused some discomfort occasionally, but with the variable pump that problem was easily solved.

The product does not have end straps as depicted. Instead the mattress is extended in length to be tucked under the mattress. I dont necessarily like this feature, as you have to make sure it stays tucked under.
I not one for my husband and tried it out. WOW it was great, did not k ow it vibrates. What a great night sleep. Sure glad I bought it.
